Sept 5 1889: John Bradford Wood and wife Elizabeth arrived 1889 with small children and homesteaded Hazel Point, Deed Records S 27 T26 R1W land patent.

1890 School Records James B. Wood named one of three of the first Directors of newly formed school district.

Nathan WOOD, b. 1822 OH, died 1892, Coyle, Jefferson Co. WA. Sarah Jane SACKMAN, b. 1828 IN, died 1894 in Seattle.

Both were buried on the Wood Homestead at Hazel Point, Coyle, WA.
